THE best in town, hands down. My family eat a lot of Mexican food and there’s nowhere in town as good as Los Volcanes and the price is right as well. It’s cheaper than any of the more popular places.

$1 street tacos on Tuesday is a killer deal. Everything I've had there is good. Although the red salsa is pretty bland, they have a couple of other bottles they sit on the table which spice it up. Try the green stuff!

4.5 starsStopped into Los Volcanes on the strength of the reviews, and I agree it's a pretty darn good taco. They opened promptly at 11 am and were sitting folks with music pumping. Water and chips came out quickly. Menu is fairly straightforward, but feel free to ask what something is. The taco chicas are small street tacos with onions and cilantro. I had almost all of them just to try the flavors, and they all were good. I removed some on the onions, though. Rice was flavorful, and the salsa for the chips was good. Overall, a good lunch!

Our second time here on taco Tuesday! Chicken tacos, only $1.00 margaritas $2.99. Will definitely be back.

Waitress was welcoming and attentive. Music was 80s rock at first, then Mexican pop. Tacos are quite small - more a tasting plate than a proper meal - but extremely tasty. Chimichanga, likewise, was textbook. My dish, the name of which I cannot recall, included unpeeled shrimp smothered in a savory red sauce, beans and rice, French fries, and a small assortment of veg. Delicious, if somewhat hard to eat without the sauce getting everywhere (unless I was supposed to eat it without removing the heads first?). Atmosphere is warm, an excellent little hole in the wall. Not the best Mexican in the area, but not bad by half. Recommended.

Los Volcanes has hands down some of the, if not the best tacos in Bowling Green. They are so flavorful and the sauces they have make them even better. Very authentic street style tacos. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Food is always good but they never wear a hair net the most disgusting thing you can do is take your first bite and it’s somebody else’s hair in your food ??I’m so

Where do I begin...first the 3 salsas & chips they provided were awesome. Ordered a margarita that was tasty & came in a fiber optic lighted glass that was festive. We ordered the Nacho Locos & shared them between the 2 of us and they were scrumptious & the perfect portion for both of us. It's been said that seeing the bathroom of a restaurant might be a window into the kitchen cleanliness. The women's restroom was spotless & smelled good! As was the dining area...clean & tidy. The only suggestion I could offer to increase potential traffic is not proper outdoor road signage that we saw. We almost passed it, but gratefully we did find it & loved our dining experience! Don't walk, RUN & try it!! BTW...a couple came in & obviously are weekly regulars & the staff recognized them & asked if they wanted their "regulars." They said as they paid out, "See you next week!"

Excellent service! We thought we wanted tacos Togo but they smelled so good we took a seat and ate them all before we left lol. We got a mix of beef, shrimp, and chicken tacos with and without guac. Sooo good! Glad Bowling Green is repping Mexican food well!
