Dirty floors, food took over 30m, loud drunk singing, and pupusas that had very little filling

We were given the wrong food that was not close to the value of what we paid for and then offered a 10% off coupon for our next purchase instead if something of similar value or a refund.

I see why businesses never last in this building. This newest rendition of rent out cookery’s is a waste of time. Bland and greasy with no cultural pop. But the most annoying thing is the lack of communication. I don’t care if your employees don’t speak English but someone in the business should have an idea on at least key words like “Online order” Or any of the other buzzwords I used. Terrible phone call about our order led to them replacing my main dish with 2 extra boxes of papusso that weren’t correct flavors cause they were out of pappusso I wanted. The chicken tamales had 2 bites of chicken per tamale. This is not even to mention the smelly yellow and grey plastic bag of garnish I was given. As well as the fact that no one offered to help the poor woman who didn’t speak English and the environment was overall unwelcoming. 41$ dollars. What a R.I.P.

Absolutely delicious! Very reasonably priced and the best shrimp tacos in town. Pupusas and mixed grill were also excellent. And the plantains...out of the world, perfectly ripe and caramelized. Can't wait to go back!

Come check this place out!!! This place is amazing! My husband is from Honduras and loves that the food is authentic, which is hard to find. It made him feel like he was back home. Everything was full of flavor and the portion sizes are large. Our server was very friendly. This will be our regular spot. We had cheese papusas, steak nachos, steak tacos and the carne asada! So much food we will get to have lunch tomorrow too! So glad we found this place!! Sorry we forgot to take pictures of everything before we dug in.

4.5 starsOrgullo Catracho is an authentic Honduran restaurant. Large space that can sit your very large party easily. They nicely converted the space by the bar into a billards area, making it more of a bar scene with the food area and performance stage off to the side. Servers were attentive and had chips and bean dip out very quickly. There was a wait for our food even though the place was not super busy, but I imagine to get the fried items right it took some time. We had the fried fish platter and the grilled shrimp, which both came with rice, more refried beans (think there were olives in there somewhere), coleslaw and choice of plantains or tortillas. The fish was perfect and the shrimp had a great smokey grilled flavor. Plantains were crispy and soft inside with some kind of white sauce that to me had little taste. The papusa came out later and came with a vinegar based coleslaw different from the other that was very flavorful. The locoro papusa was delicious and super hot. All in all a great authentic meal. Go support this place by giving them a try whether for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
