Absolutely delicious! Very reasonably priced and the best shrimp tacos in town. Pupusas and mixed grill were also excellent. And the plantains...out of the world, perfectly ripe and caramelized. Can't wait to go back!

Come check this place out!!! This place is amazing! My husband is from Honduras and loves that the food is authentic, which is hard to find. It made him feel like he was back home. Everything was full of flavor and the portion sizes are large. Our server was very friendly. This will be our regular spot. We had cheese papusas, steak nachos, steak tacos and the carne asada! So much food we will get to have lunch tomorrow too! So glad we found this place!! Sorry we forgot to take pictures of everything before we dug in.

4.5 starsOrgullo Catracho is an authentic Honduran restaurant. Large space that can sit your very large party easily. They nicely converted the space by the bar into a billards area, making it more of a bar scene with the food area and performance stage off to the side. Servers were attentive and had chips and bean dip out very quickly. There was a wait for our food even though the place was not super busy, but I imagine to get the fried items right it took some time. We had the fried fish platter and the grilled shrimp, which both came with rice, more refried beans (think there were olives in there somewhere), coleslaw and choice of plantains or tortillas. The fish was perfect and the shrimp had a great smokey grilled flavor. Plantains were crispy and soft inside with some kind of white sauce that to me had little taste. The papusa came out later and came with a vinegar based coleslaw different from the other that was very flavorful. The locoro papusa was delicious and super hot. All in all a great authentic meal. Go support this place by giving them a try whether for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

I truly enjoyed this very new Bowling Green restaurant. I was seated and served by a young man who went out of his way to guide me through the menu. I had yucca and chicharrones with a dipping sauce, served with curtido (sp?) - delicious. I took my leftovers home (generous serving!), and was given an extra portion of the dipping sauce and curtido to have with my supper. I will certainly return. The interior is clean and fresh, but much less inviting than the food - it can’t be helped that we don’t overlook a beautiful bay with fresh ocean breezes.
