love this place, sometimes your employees are what makes the experience wonderful! Miss Caitlin is a great worker and so kind and patient! I had heard some unkind people come through when she was working all by herself and she had so much grace about it and still kept working! side note Passion fruit is my fav flavor!
Tonight (3/14) we visited Pelicans shortly before closing. Personally, I've worked the food industry, and customers walking in 10 minutes prior to close was never my favorite. I try to make it a point not to arrive within 30 minutes of closing. The sign was still lit up, and my kids really wanted their first Pelicans after new years. Pelican's SnoBalls-Scottsville Road is a great place with a ton of flavors. Customers love this spot and have visited many times for snoballs at a good price. One reviewer's favorite flavor is Passion fruit. The employees make the experience wonderful, providing friendly service. One young worker showed grace and kindness while working alone, even when unkind people came through. Another employee, working shortly before closing, opened the window with a big smile, treated customers with the utmost respect, and provided the best customer service. She made a customer feel valued, not like a burden. A recent visit included adding cream and a shark gummy, which was a very good decision. Overall, the staff deserves so much praise.
