Fast, friendly service. We tried the fried mushrooms with horseradish as an appetizer. Husband had Chicken fried steak with brown gravy, corn (seasoned perfectly), and mashed potatoes. I had the corn cakes with pulled pork, Mac n cheese, and the sweet pepper slaw. Good sized portions! Took half home for later. Got the pineapple upside-down cake to go. Everything was delicious and what needed to be hot, was hot! Nice atmosphere. Owner came by to check on us, too. Highly recommend...
The food here is so so delicious!! I just stumbled upon this establishment and had lots of questions because of my dietary restrictions. Even though the young lady was the only server she graciously went and asked the kitchen for me. I had the catfish and the pulled pork. Outstanding! I'm going back tonight! Great food and great service, thank you.
Best homemade southern cooking. The staff is local & very nice which is a plus. My fiancé & I come here very often and the owner always comes out an speak to us. But he’s food speaks for itself. You won’t regret it.
