Toro Reviews
We have been to Toro twice now in the last week. We loved it the first time. My husband had the burger of the day and I had the ceviche and they were both quite good. The margarita we both had was also very good. We went back the second time and my husband had the Chef's special. It was great! I had the seafood paella and it was just OK. It was very overdone and the mussels on top were so overdone that there was no mussel left. It was totally dried up and no mussel was there. There were five or six and they were all like that. The calamari and other fish in the rice were also very overdone and the rice itself was too done also. The shrimp on top were cooked separately and just right. The dish was also so spicy that after a few bites I could taste little other than spice. I was disappointed in it as everything else was so good. We will for sure be back, but won't have the paella again. I feel like this could be a great restaurant with a bit more skill by the chef, but is very good as is. The people we have had as servers have been excellent.
Food was delicious. I wanted to order Paella but they said it takes over an hour to cook and we had already waited 40 minutes, will try next time. Good service but would recommend turning music down, we had to yell to hear each other.

Toro is a restaurant that offers fantastic food, service, and atmosphere. The tapas, beverages, and tacos are all delicious and reasonably priced. The cantina nachos are huge and tasty, while the Spanish meatballs are served with perfectly grilled bread. The oysters, clams, and lamb chops are phenomenal. The bartender provides excellent recommendations, and the tequila selection is impressive. The staff is friendly and helpful, making the dining experience enjoyable.
The restaurant has a casual atmosphere with great food. Customers have tried the chicken Santa Fe salad, My Way tapas, and Toro Sampler, all of which were excellent. The My Way tapas, which combines the flavors of a seafood bisque and a seafood skillet with jumbo shrimp, calamari, mushrooms, and sausage in a red sauce, is a particular favorite.
The service is outstanding, with the waitstaff being prompt, personable, and knowledgeable about the menu. The food is fresh, hot, and delicious, with the Santa Fe salad and salted caramel ice cream being highlights. The restaurant also offers vegetarian options and has ample parking, including a patio.
Overall, Toro is a must-visit for anyone in the area looking for a great dining experience with fantastic value.
