The last of the small town diners offering locals and travelers fantastic down home cooking at reasonable prices. Real people, real food, real good prices. If you are looking for fancy you are in the wrong place. No booze, but the best sweet tea and lemonade you can drink. Smoking in the front chases the pretenders away, the seats on the side and back is filled with farmers, local business owners, teens and their families. I always feel like I hit a time warp until I get some of that catfish and handmade yeast rolls. It doesn't get any better.
