This restaurant is located in the visitor center of Bernheim Forest. Staff was friendly and they have vegan milk options for coffee plus vegan deserts (eagle claws) and meals. I had the chickpea wrap and eagle claws. The claws were amazing, the wrap was okay. I would usually give three stars for the quality, but this place gets a bonus star for the forest. It’s a huge property, working like crazy for land and wildlife conservation. They care about the earth and the wildlife...
I’m not sure I’ve ever written a review, but this one is worth mentioning. We were a group of 13 with 7 very hungry children and the staff here could not have been nicer and more helpful. The food was made FAST - like within ten minutes our kids had plates in front of them. They accommodated substitutions for picky eaters in a most generous way. The adult food was great. Were at bernheim forest for a drive through the park. Decided to see the gift shop and check out the cafe. Not busy as it was a rainy type day. However, Isaac's was a gem. We tried the Willow and the Clover panini. All locally grown produce, and local meat from Boones butcher. Yummy roast beef, and black forest ham. Fresh made cupcakes. Had to try the death by chocolate one. Took it to go, as the sandwiches were filling. Service was excellent! WILL be back in the spring....
