“I meet my sister on many Sundays at the Ft. Wright Kyle’s Ln. for breakfast. We usually seek out LaTosha. She is so efficient and friendly. We just enjoy seeing her and she sees us coming and asks as she seating us if it’s our usual drinks. My sister is going through some health issues and LaTosha always asks about how she’s doing.Even when it’s full, the wait is generally reasonable. Prices have gone up and we’re both on a fixed income. So this has decreased the frequency of our visits. The place is decorated nicely - homey and warm. There is another Frisch’s nearby that was redecorated and is rather austere, and chilly - both in ambiance and actual temperature. We’ve quit going there even though it’s better in-between site.“
“It's hard not to like Anchor grill. It's as "local greasy spoon" as it gets, but it has a relaxed, welcoming vibe. Sort of if your Mom and a couple of her friends opened a diner, and you stopped in for dinner. The staff are friendly and polite, and the food is surprisingly solid. If I'm in the Midwest, I have to satisfy my breaded, fried pork tenderloin sandwich craving. Theirs is thin but decent, and you can't beat the price. Cash only. Give it a try. The pancakes look great. If you're not a local, be aware many restaurants here allow you to smoke inside, and this is one of them.“
“Tried Lana's Diner for the first time. Time of our visit came just after their lunch rush. It was obvious they had been busy and at the moment of our arrival, there was only one server waiting tables. While there was a little wait, it was understandable why. The one server, though overwhelmed, did not allow the circumstance to rattle her or keep her from pushing on to take care of customers. I was impressed by how she worked her job without letting her job work her. Her attitude remained polite and helpful to those she was serving. Food was very good and was presented as quickly as was reasonably possible. It was good service considering the circumstance. I give Lana's 5 Stars We will be back!! I highly recommend this down-home diner!!“
“The food was good the people was nice not only did I dine in I had enough food to take out to eat later if you are ever on this side of Alexandria Kentucky you need to stop by Pinky it's like a little hole-in-the-wall but those are the best places to“
“This was our first time to stop here, and it was good! It is definitely a mom and pop place, and the food tastes like you went to your kitchen and cooked it. Nothing spectacular, but it was really good and filling! The service was top notch! I will go back.“
“I opted for the paella, a classic Spanish dish, and it exceeded my expectations. The rice was perfectly cooked and infused with savory saffron, while the seafood and meats were tender and flavorful. The dish was beautifully presented and served piping hot, creating a memorable dining experience.“
“I used to really enjoy going to Frisch's. But since I got bought out by this other company the prices of done nothing but go up food quality is gone down the service is horrible I'm getting to the point where we hardly go there at all anymore.“
“I've noticed recently that the bar food like potatoes are over cooked and some things get dried out on the bar. It's the familiarity with the servers for me.Kid-friendliness: My grandson likes to come here for the vegetable soup and fries. I like how they have kid coupons for Valentines day.Wheelchair accessibility: I recently lost my father-in-law. We would always come here bc it was friendly, had handicap parking, and his chair would fit under the table.“
“Hot and fresh seafood bar, ice cold coke. Soup was hot and not watery. Hush puppies a little over cooked but not rubbery. Fried green beans a surprise. Fish and shrimp kept coming out in small batches and the dinner room was packed! Waitress was on it too, she never missed a beat.“
“Our server was Leona at the Bellevue Ky location. She was well prepared with everything for our breakfast, and made the experience a good one.Vegetarian options: Their options were great for our vegetarian friend.Parking: Parking lot was large and clean.“
“The dining area is kept cleaned, which is a big deal for me. The employees here are very friendly. They check in on you at reasonable intervals. I ordered the spicy Big Boy with no pickles and fries. Everything came out perfectly. For my drink, I had the sweet tea. If I had known that it would come with a ton of ice, I’d ask for light ice. Other than that, everything was great.“
“All the negative reviews don't take into consideration that this place is a sweet little diner. They aren't supposed to be at their best when they're packed to the gills on a Saturday. Even brunch chains struggle with Cincy crowds, that's a staffing and a demand issue. This isn't waffle house, y'all.Sugar and spice is flawless. Good food, hardly any grease for a greasy spoon, everyone is friendly and the ambiance is wonderful. Come here on a weekday for lunch or breakfast and you will be more than satisfied.“
“We have not been to this Frisch's for a long while. We went for dinner with our son and had a wonderful experience. The menu had changed a little with a nice choice selection. The interior had been given a remodel. The service was excellent provided by an Associate who has been there for years. She remembered us and was very attentive. Everything was perfect. We will return. Thanks for a nice evening.“
“Chuck, Maureen, McKayla are all so AWESOME! We called and did a order from home. We didn't realize our b1g1 free coupons were platters. They added our extra food on without hesitation. The customer service is phenomenal and we will definitely be back. Thank you, again!“
“Breakfast bar was delicious, hot, well stocked and maintained. Our server Keith deserves more than just five stars! From the moment we walked in, his warm smile and impeccable service made our dining experience exceptional. He was attentive and friendly. We'll definitely be back, thanks to his outstanding service!“
