A nice cozy gem. I've been here years ago as a kid. An coming back is awesome good food and service, parking is on street which is ok plenty of places to park, and bring cash but they do have atm.
My go-to spot for American diner style grub. A short walk for me since I live on Main, so I will hit this place up for a tasty down-home breakfast when the mood strikes. Nothing fancy, just good food, good service. Bring cash!

It's hard not to like Anchor grill. It's as "local greasy spoon" as it gets, but it has a relaxed, welcoming vibe. Sort of if your Mom and a couple of her friends opened a diner, and you stopped in for dinner. The staff are friendly and polite, and the food is surprisingly solid. If I'm in the Midwest, I have to satisfy my breaded, fried pork tenderloin sandwich craving. Theirs is thin but decent, and you can't beat the price. Cash only. Give it a try.
