This was our first visit to the cold spring location. Greeting, awesome. Took several minutes for server to greet us. On arrival, she said sorry for delay, my manager was mad at me because previous customers complained that their food was cold, then said, it wasn’t cold because I burnt my hand on a biscuit. First Watch in Cold Spring is a new location that has quickly become a welcome addition for local residents. The restaurant features a cozy and fresh interior, and the exterior also looks nice. Service is described as efficient, stellar, and welcoming, even during a super busy Sunday morning. One server was knowledgeable and made several meal suggestions, and the section where one can get 1/2 of different sandwiches to equal one sandwich was especially liked. Food is fantastic as always, with breakfast tacos described as yummy, and the omelet and avocado toast loved. The biscuits and gravy is good, but it is turkey sausage, so it is lacking for some tastes. The menu has a good variety of food options. During a first visit, the greeting was awesome, but the server took several minutes to greet the table and gave a very weird greeting. The bill arrived before the food and was wrong, but another lady took care of it and was very kind. Overall, the team was working super hard, moving efficiently and fast, and the manager on staff was doing a great job. The wait time was acceptable given a full parking lot. First Watch is recommended.
