“This place has been a favorite of mine since I was a child and the trolley was located outside to sit and eat in. There are 3 tables inside to eat at and a couple picnic tables outside. Best milkshakes around! The food is wonderful too! The only downside to this review is that I started eating my food and didn’t get great pictures of it. If you visit, you’ll understand.”

Nice sit down restaurant on the interstate next to a gas station. The team servers and cooks are thoughtful and helpful. Patience and attentive to guests. Definitely worth the stop. “I’m a Truck Driver and I drove across country and eat all the waffle houses in every state it’s just by far the cleanest Waffle House I have ever seen!!!! the service was amazing. The waitresses were so friendly. My waitress pacifically told me how to order an order that made it cheaper and I really appreciate that if all the waffle houses could be like this one it’d be perfect thank you girls. This newer Independence location is clean, bright, and welcoming, and the food is consistently fresh and flavorful. I appreciate that they offer plenty of healthier choices alongside the classic breakfast favorites, so there’s something for everyone. The service has always been friendly, and it’s easy to see why First Watch continues to be one of my go-to places. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!”

“I will say the day shift is amazing I love Tia she is such a sweetheart and its very nice and cleaned . But nightshift don't know who the knew girl is but apparently she doesn't do nothing the machines were very dirty and wet beer spilled on them cigarettes butts all over the floor dirty dishes on the games.when I walked in she never asked if you need anything my friend waited 10min before he got a beer tonight . Maybe instead of playing on the machines then this place would be much nicer and cleaner at night . I will say when Kelly was working nights it least she did work her butt off but this other girl no she won't do nothing.”

“I always get the Chicken Parmesan salad and it is ALWAYS delicious. This salad is by far the best, most consistently good fast food item I’ve ever had. My only complaint is that it is too big for just one packet of dressing, although I never have any trouble getting extra when I request it.
Wendy’s, please don’t ever take this off of the menu!”

“I recently found myself cold wet and walking in the rain in dry ridge. I walked in and asked for a simple glass of water and to rest. the waitress, was awesome and invited me right in knowing I didn't have a penny at the time. the staff were all friendly, respectful and most importantly busy... not just with orders or chatting, but cleaning and maintaining the speed and accuracy of service and their work areas. a gentleman bought me a meal and it was hot, fast and made how I requested. great staff. great service. clean store. amazing atmosphere. definitely will be stopping in next time I head south”
