They need more signage for this place, as I just stumbled upon it, don't think I would have found it if I was looking for it! I was very impressed with the portion size relative to the price. Butter Pecan ice cream had a lot of pecans in it. The Browning. Country Ham store in the back had a good sandwich, although it wasn't quite the bargain Ella's is. I'll definitely go back.
Ella Mae’s has some of the best ice cream around, and it is super inexpensive!! The employees are super welcoming and always greet the customers. Such a great addition to Dry Ridge!

We stopped in for ice cream. Chocolate and vanilla milk shakes were good. They have a Mae Dea that is like a blizzard but it is not really. They do not add enough of the add ins and it is not incorporated through to the entire ice cream. The ice cream makes up for the lack of candy in the bottom! The ice cream is soft serve and was delicious! I would have rather had a sundae or just soft serve! One girl working the front was not very helpful, but the other girl actually acknowledged...read full review
