We stopped in for a visit. Ethan greeted and did a great job of making us feel welcome. He spent a lot of time educating us about Cacahca (SP?). While I had never heard of Cacahca I was very impressed and liked it very much. It is very hard for me to describe the flavor. What struck me was that it smelled like a hint of butterscotch but tasted like a cross between Bourbon and Vodka. That is probably heresy, sorry.
I was very glad we stopped.
I was very glad we stopped.
We were looking for a tour that wasn't bourbon. We had a great time. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and excited about their products. We had never tried Casaca, it was delicious. We highly recommend Blue Rook Distillery.
If you’re thinking about booking an experience at Blue Rook, just do it! We did the Cane and Craft experience this past weekend and it was so much fun! Zach was amazing and it was so fun learning about Cachaça and sugar cane liquor and then sampling it.

Blue Rook Cane Spirits Distillery offers a fantastic and educational experience, ranked among the best distillery visits. The Gin Discovery Experience is fun and informative, led by knowledgeable and passionate guides, where guests can enjoy a cocktail and explore botanicals. The Master of the Art of Cane experience is also highly recommended, described as completely different from a bourbon tour, very informative and comfortable. Guests love the detail and care of the tours, often leaving with bottles of gin they made themselves or cachaca. The spirits are awesome, the samples delicious, and the food and drinks are always incredible. It is a must-visit destination, worth a short drive, creating new caipirinha converts and earning the highest recommendations.
