Salt Risen Bread & Donuts! Just walking in the door was wonderful. The aromas of freshly made bread, doughnuts, pastries & pies lifted my mood. I came for the salt risen bread as it is hard to find. The folks there were friendly & knowledgeable. They even suggested Melton’s Deli for a good lunch spot. I look forward to stopping in again soon.
Oh! Don't go in there hungry or else you'll leave with A LOT of superb bakery items! Sweet rolls with lots if fruit! DONUTS!!!!!!!! Wonderful fresh baked breads. Getting hungry yet?!
Our first visit, the Saturday after Christmas. Small store across from Constitution Square.
Plenty of workers to assist customers, a rarity nowadays. Clean store, benches for resting spouses. Friendly and helpful staff, and plenty of choices for breads, cookies, and pastries. Plus, the prices are reasonable!
We recommend and will be back on our next visit to Danville.
