We are usually very pleased with our service and food. However this day was a complete mess. We arrived at noon. The dining room had no one there but all the tables were dirty. The girl taking order was practically lying on the counter. Had to repeat the order a couple times. We felt she wasn’t listening . While waiting for our food she was coughing and spitting in the trashcan near the food line. Disgusting! Food order was wrong so apparently she wasn’t listening. They were out of butter. How does a restaurant run out of butter. I hope this was an off day.

I just have to brag on the Danville Captain D’s! Every time I visit, the food is always hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious—I’m pretty sure they cook everything to order. I moved away for a while and tried Captain D’s in Louisville, and honestly, it was awful both times. I thought I’d never eat there again. But now that I’m back, I couldn’t be happier with this location. The food is consistently amazing, and the service is always so friendly.

The girls working there were Kind and Helpful. I picked up lunch for my Mom, Dad and myself for after Church. the food was cooked perfectly!
We come here often, but tonight was quite different. The photos I am attaching are if shrimp, completely dipped in batter, the tails are still on and the batter is not completely done. The shrimp look to be cooked all the way. It looked like just 1 person was working but this was not a good experience for $40.

The fish was not the normal white fish. it had a consistency I have never experienced in fish. The taste was not good. The fries were only luck warm.
