Food was not hot, and that's typical lately. Our server was a sweet girl who did her best.

I ordered online to go, and there was basically garbage in my drink. Messaged guest relations two days ago and I’ve heard nothing back.

Normally 5 stars. I wont rate is lower because this could have just been a bad day. We love Cracker Barrel and have visited across the nation in our travels. What happened? We did not get our okra side dish or our strawberry syrup for our $5 take home. The take home french toast was delicious but was very small and without syrup. Pork chops, fried chicken, side salad and dumplins were great. We just moved here and are willing to give it one more go locally.

Came in for dinner 6:42 pm and was passed by 3 services and what looked like a floor manager multiple times. Was never greeted or acknowledged by anyone on the floor. A table of 3 came in 10 minutes after me. They were greeted and got drinks. That was at the 15 minute mark and I decided to leave. I returned the menus to the hostess and told her I did not receive any service. She asked where I sat, I told her and then exited. The hostess was very nice when entering and joked with me about the breakfast menu. That was the highlight of the visit.

This place would be alot better if the employees would stay off the phones and pay attention to the orders.

This place does have crackers and it may or may not have barrels! (I regrettably didn’t inquire about the barrels) I did not feel as though anyone was mean to me and the server I had seemed pretty chill considering her job was to put on a smile all day long for 8 hours despite having people being rude and always nagging her. I will say that the meals at Cracker Barrel have gone up a bit in price which isn’t a problem for the elderly since they are getting those dandy social security checks, but the younger folks may need to consider going to store and getting some ingredients to make a tuna sandwich! Food here is good but I always find it incredible how nearly every time I come here, there is some old lady who asks if she can date my 2 year old child. Thats a bit strange, but besides all that, this place is a good ol solid 8/10 sometimes.

Place, windows and even the globes on each latern was nasty. They were very slow only a few tables but we had to wait a while to just get drinks. The food took longer than expected also. Just don’t understand. Maybe new people training. Don’t know but even the older lady that rung us up wasn’t even friendly The place needs life quick before it closes. Someone who knows how to do service and make sure the people are cleaning !!

The food is generally good but the main problem I’ve had for several years is that often the food is cold by the time it reaches your table. Especially breakfast foods, such as eggs, pancakes, etc.

Where to begin. The person seating was on her phone so we had to interrupt to be seated. A fifteen minute wait for a server, that we had to stop and ask for someone. Biscuits brought to the table that were cold, asked for hot biscuits. They came out cold AGAIN. No napkins or plates either time. I took the 2nd basket to the server station, they were on their phones. Food was ordered, they left off an item I asked for. After an hr, I was beyond hungry. No refills on drinks. Had to wait and look for the server for our ticket.
Not once did the manager come to our table. No discounts mentioned or offered.

Ordered a fried chicken BLT platter for pickup. Got it and went home. Opened bag and did not have what I ordered. Got 2 slices of oiled bread (had a strong petroleum smell of whatever they had put on the bread). The very small bread slices were less than the size of my palm with 2 crumbled half slices of bacon, a slice of tomato and a wilted piece of lettuce. THERE WAS NO FRIED CHICKEN PATTIE!!! I had 10 steak fries with the sandwich, and although not an abundant amount, they were good. Too cold to run back out, but I wish I hadn't eaten the sandwich as I belched and tasted petroleum oil all evening long, not always being sure I was going to be able to keep the sandwich down. Worst meal I have ever eaten at Cracker Barrel.
I even left tip before I knew they hadn't given me the right meal.

While a long time favorite restaurant, our last 3 meals have arrived with cool sides. The meat has been good. Our servers have been courteous as well. This is the Danville, Ky. Location. Hopefully not all locations are having difficulties. We feel we can get great, healthy options at CB and really don’t want to decrease our visits.

Steak was very tough. Also full of gristle. Sometimes they are good and sometimes very bad. It’s about a 50/50 shot at the restaurant in Danville Ky. Ps. I have to remark on parking to publish this.
