Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

My family Loves going to Cracker Barrel especially the one in Danville KY! We frequently get Stephanie as our waitress and she is extremely delightful!

I am really disappointed in the change to the turnip greens. I have always loved them and have driven several miles to get them for dinner. I felt the changes left them bland and tasteless. There are several other food changes that would put the success of a staple to many families as a no go restaurant!

I am still waiting on my food. My fiance and I got a drink like 30 minutes in, finally. We went ahead and ordered our food when we ordered our drinks cause we knew we wouldn't see our waitress again. An hour later, not any food in sight. They are not that busy.

Great service friendly customer service

2 outta 4 entrees come out cold. Reordered 1 of the 2. It came out over cooked. Other 2 parties with us 1 outta 2 steaks ordered identical 1 come under cooked. Had to wait awhile for the manager. She was rude said she’d just pay for two a the 2 meals. Won’t be back. We’ve been to many Cracker Barrel’s throughout the states & this is the only one we wouldn’t come back too. Waitress was nice. Place was clean.

Food was not hot, and that's typical lately. Our server was a sweet girl who did her best.

I ordered online to go, and there was basically garbage in my drink. Messaged guest relations two days ago and I’ve heard nothing back.

Normally 5 stars. I wont rate is lower because this could have just been a bad day. We love Cracker Barrel and have visited across the nation in our travels. What happened? We did not get our okra side dish or our strawberry syrup for our $5 take home. The take home french toast was delicious but was very small and without syrup. Pork chops, fried chicken, side salad and dumplins were great. We just moved here and are willing to give it one more go locally.

Came in for dinner 6:42 pm and was passed by 3 services and what looked like a floor manager multiple times. Was never greeted or acknowledged by anyone on the floor. A table of 3 came in 10 minutes after me. They were greeted and got drinks. That was at the 15 minute mark and I decided to leave. I returned the menus to the hostess and told her I did not receive any service. She asked where I sat, I told her and then exited. The hostess was very nice when entering and joked with me about the breakfast menu. That was the highlight of the visit.

This place would be alot better if the employees would stay off the phones and pay attention to the orders.

This place does have crackers and it may or may not have barrels! (I regrettably didn’t inquire about the barrels) I did not feel as though anyone was mean to me and the server I had seemed pretty chill considering her job was to put on a smile all day long for 8 hours despite having people being rude and always nagging her. I will say that the meals at Cracker Barrel have gone up a bit in price which isn’t a problem for the elderly since they are getting those dandy social security checks, but the younger folks may need to consider going to store and getting some ingredients to make a tuna sandwich! Food here is good but I always find it incredible how nearly every time I come here, there is some old lady who asks if she can date my 2 year old child. Thats a bit strange, but besides all that, this place is a good ol solid 8/10 sometimes.

Place,windows and even the globes on each latern was nasty. They were very slow only a few tables but we had to wait a while to just get drinks. The food took longer than expected also. Just don’t understand. Maybe new people training. Don’t know but even the older lady that rung us up wasn’t even friendly The place needs life quick before it closes. Someone who knows how to do service and make sure the people are cleaning !!
