I grew up on A & W rootbeer and their floats, starting out with the baby rootbeers. Our local one back in the late 60`s was operated by a firefighter friend so we stopped by there every afternoon for a rootbeer, after my dad finished running his schoolbus route, the stand then was located on Hwy 66 in Sullivan, Missouri, then relocated to the other side of I-44 when it replaced 66. Those were great times and I have never had a problem with any A & W`s anywhere, including the one in Danville which I have frequented in years past on visits there.“
