The chicken is the best in Kentucky. The green beans were country style and awesome. Then the mashed potatoes with bacon and pepper gravy was awesome also. I definitely recommend this place. Just had the chocolate pecan pie with bourbon sauce with butter pecan ice cream, that was the best I ever had.
We visited the Purple Poulet for my son's birthday. The whole experience was perfect! The food was top notch (best fried chicken) & the waitress was wonderful! Also, if you like bourbon selections, I would highly recommend this place!
Had a most enjoyable supper there. The fried chicken was exceptional. Excellent service. The owner/hostess was so friendly and welcoming.💖
