It was absolutely amazing I really enjoyed my birthday dinner. U can feel the family vibe there and then the best birthday song ever from a 95 year old man which was such a blessing. Definitely one of a kind

Excellent experience, excellent food and excellent service. We ordered Oysters Oscar style, Filet Mignon (well hard to do right) Garlic Mashed, House Ranch Salad, Surf and Turf with Ribeye, stuffed Shrimp and a Scallop great place.

Never have left a bad review about a place..but if I could give this place a 0, I would. We were there for over an hour and a half without getting our dinner while a table of four got their dinner before us and a table of two had already cashed out despite us arriving and being seated at the restaurant before them (there were only two of us at our table btw)... sat there for over 30 minutes while our wine and water glasses were empty, even after asking for refills multiple times. Had to ask to get bread 4 different times before someone actually brought it. Can NOT justify paying $70 for a surf and turf and $40 for a steak for such a TERRIBLE experience. We just ended up cashing out before getting our entrees for just our wine and appetizer oh also, NO AC!!!!

This was our second visit to Trottas and the food was just as good as the first time. My sister came with us this time and she was impressed with the quality of the food and the preparation. She initially ordered the trout, but was later told it was not available. I initially ordered the chicken Alfredo, but that was also not available. She changed her order to the pork chop with bourbon sauce and said it was one of the best pork chops she had ever eaten. I changed my order to the salmon with raspberry sauce, which I had ordered on my first visit, and it was just as delicious the second time. There are still air conditioning issues in the main dining room, but we were seated in an upper dining room and it was comfortable. Although our visit had some glitches, the food was worth the inconvenience. I will return.

Went today for the first time for Fathers Day. I was surprised at our poor experience. We had a 5:15 reservation and didn't get our meals until 6:50. We didn't order appetizers, our drinks took a long time, our food order took a long time to place, the two servers were walking as fast as they could without running. The salads were flimsy, and no refill on bread. Had to ask twice. Sat for quite a while and then someone else asked if they could get us anything and we said Our Dinner. She went inside and started yelling, and our meals came out in a few minutes. All the sides were cold and wilted. The entrees were good, but honestly nothing was worth the high prices. Very disappointing.

Myself and my girlfriend were out on a date night had reservations when we got there. Service was a little slow to start because they were short staff that night. We initially had a waitress that mentioned to us it was her first day back. She seemed to be flustered, but we were relaxed and were giving her the benefit of the doubt. The air conditioner was out in the building they were nice to accommodate us to a room with air conditioning. The ambiance was nice table they had set was nice as well. Scott had originally came out to support our waitress with our drinks and appetizers. From there Scott took over duties and became our server for the rest of the night. Scott went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, accommodated, and well taken care of the rest of the night. Scott was excellent, punctual, kind and truly exemplified what customer service is all about. Given the fact the restaurant was short staffed and experiencing the air conditioner being out. We really appreciate Scott tending to us going outside of his role given the circumstances. The food was excellent had it not been for Scott we are not sure if we would have had the positive experience that we did. Scott is excellent and we look forward to seeing him the next time we Return. SHOUT out to SCOTT you were excellent my friend!!!!!

There was no A/C on a hot evening. They seemed to be understaffed. Very friendly but it took a while. Food was good. Not great. Prices were 10% higher than the menu online.

Everything was great the food the service was excellent The owners dad was there going around talking to people He was great very nice man we really enjoyed talking to him it was my birthday he came back to are table and played the violin for my birthday song it was great we will Definitely go back there again thanks

Food was fantastic! It was our first time dining at Trotta's. Our party had steak, ribs, sea bass, and pork chops and none were disappointed! The staff was friendly (although probably a little short staffed) and went out of their way to be helpful. The outdoor dining had soothing live entertainment. Will definitely go again.

This was our first visit to Trotta's and we were very pleased. The food was outstanding. My husband had the New York Strip and I had salmon with raspberry sauce. Both were amazing! Our server was friendly, she kept us informed and she was fast on her feet! We didn't have to wait long for her to be back at our table to check on us. The only downside was the AC was down and it was a bit warm in the dining room. The owners were cordial and checked on us too. Very nice folks! An added bonus for us was the live music. A very capable pianist was on site and we enjoyed the great songs on his playlist. It made the evening extra special. We will definitely return to Trotta's.

We waited over an hour and NEVER received food . I wanted to live this place as the ambience was so cute and I'm sure the food would have been delicious . Unfortunately, the restaurant kitchen nor staff can handle any and I mean ANY sort of crowd.

I had Sea Bass and potatoes and the Homemade French Onion soup. They all were delicious. They were out of several items on the menu, including wines, and it was only 6:00pm. Service very slow.

This was our first time at Trottas and we thoroughly enjoyed it! The historic building is very neat, gives a cozy atmosphere added by a fantastic pianist. A server showed us the vault and shared history with us which we really enjoyed. Our server was wonderful and made a great dining experience for us and our friends. We enjoyed salads, steaks and the chicken parmesan was outstanding! Ended with delicious desserts. I would highly recommend the key lime pie. We will definitely be back again!

First, let me say we love Trotta's. We only get here a couple of times per year do to distance and they are expensive. Our most recent trip was our most disappointing. We both ordered prime rib which was tough and fatty. Although I know they are expensive, I thought that $7 for a small half filled bowl of onion soup and $15 for a small slice of chocolate cake was too expensive. In defense of Trotta's we didn't say anything. Why, because we knew they would go over the top to make it right and we didn't want to create an issue. We will definitely return because we love the people and atmosphere. However, we now know what we will not be ordering off of the menu.
