Our local daughter took us there (twice!) during our recent visit. It easily lived up to the stellar ratings. The food is excellent and the staff welcomes you like family. The owners were also terrific about making adjustments to accommodate food allergies.Know that inside seating is limited so a few groups will fill it. They have a picnic table 'beer garden' outside that can seat many more people when the weather is cooperating.
Delicious food, friendly people, good beer, and lots of vegetarian options. A friend in Dayton recommended Tuba and we were so glad that we tried it. The Swabanatian (a German fusion Cincinnati chili) and the Dinette (flatbread with potatoes and leeks) were both excellent. The pretzel with spicy mustard was a nice appetizer. The food was all delicious - including our schnitzel sandwich + side of kasespatzel, pretzel + beer cheese, and Hawaiian Flammkuchen. Our 6 month old sends compliments to the owner and chef for being so helpful for her to have some plain cooked carrots! Service was incredible and friendly and we definitely will need to return!
