Walking in to do a takeout at 9 at night when the restaurant closes at 10. The kids working were closing up and turned everything off. No burgers and fries they said. I got what I wanted, but they didn't like the fact I was right. They cooked the food under protest.
This place was crazy busy. It was around lunch, however. Definitely expect to wait if you get there as lunch picks up. We got lucky and got an empty spot just in time. The server was very nice, the food was hot and brought right out. No mistakes. It's a small restaurant but great where it matters. With the food and people. 5/5 in my book.

Got the chili burger. First time at a gold star, I didn't like the chili at all. Had an off flavor to it. The service and friendliness of the staff is 5 star but the food barely hits a 3. If I ever go back (probably won't) I'll get the cheeseburger without the chili.
