What a gem! I ordered a half sheet cake for my husband’s milestone birthday, and picked up a half dozen cupcakes for good measure. The birthday boy and guests raved about everything! That’s why there are no pictures — everything was devoured, with friends enjoying seconds and thirds!

The cupcakes are great…if you eat them same day. We had some cupcakes left over from my son’s birthday and they were dry and blan and wayyyyy too much icing! Usually we have to take most of the icing off because my little ones don’t like a lot of it. 4/5 because the are really good if you eat same day you purchase them. Only my experience, everyone is different. Will probably just stick with Meijer/kroger cupcakes.

We came in town to celebrate my aunt's 96th birthday and were looking for a bakery that had a variety of beautiful moist, rich tasting cupcakes. We found them at A Sweet Retreat. Each guest loved their choice of cupcake. The lemon raspberry with a raspberry filling tastes so good and reminds me of jellyroll I used to eat as a kid. We will definitely come back when we are in town with or without a party!
