There's always hot freash food and Shoney's breakfast buffet is hard to beat. It was extremely busy one morning and they ran out of bacon. The waitress went in the kitchen and got 5 pieces for me. That was awesome and no one's ever done that! I was just letting them know. Totally surprised she did that. I can't remember her name but there's some awesome people that work there!

Absolutely the best breakfast bar and country dinner bar I've had in years. If you are within distance of here, it is Absolutely worth the trip.
We stopped in on a Sunday after visiting Mammoth cave and Lincolns birthplace. I was transported back decades to honest good food and sounds and service.

As I entered I was seated pretty quickly. However I have some mobility difficulties and before I could say I would like to sit closer to the breakfast buffet I was seated the furthest away. When the waitress got to the table to assist in taking my order I felt bad for asking to leaving her table and sit closer to the buffet. Stephanie who ended up being my waitress was very kind, courteous and attentive. The breakfast was pretty good all in all but the sausage gravy was too salty...
