We came to the Florence area and were looking for a dine-in place close to our hotel. We had been to LaRosa’s before in Cincy a year ago and we were so happy they had more locations in KY! Being from Northern Ohio, we wish this chain was in northeast Ohio! We ordered the crispy pan crust on each of our pizzas. We also ordered pretzel bites and house made potato chips that came with a sweet and spicy diablo dip. I am not the “Diablo girl” as I don’t prefer too much...
We had a birthday party of 15 last night and Kelsey was our server. She was friendly, attentive, and top-notch in every way. Would love to see her get a raise or promotion. Our experience with the food and the service was nothing short of perfect. Thank you, Kelsey, and the Florence (Merchant St.) LaRosa's!
As a Cincinnatian, LaRosa’s will always be a classic. While many visitors aren’t fans of the signature sweet sauce, I personally love it—it’s my favorite pizza in the city. On this visit, I ordered a traditional pepperoni and bacon pizza. The flavor was good, though it could have baked just a little longer. The restaurant itself was very clean, the staff was friendly and attentive, and our order was ready quickly. Overall, I’d rate this experience a solid 4/5.
