Los Cabos Mexican Bar and Grill is a small, family-owned Mexican restaurant tucked into a strip mall near the Mount Zion exit in Florence. The restaurant is cozy with traditional Mexican décor, very clean, and staffed by friendly, welcoming people. The food is always insanely delicious and generous with portions. The bar selection is solid, and the house margarita is very tasty. Meals include the chimichanga combo with shredded beef, chorizo enchiladas, street tacos (Carne asada, barbacoa, and pollo), Pollo Monterey, menudo, Carnitas, and steak fajitas. The horchata is 10/10, and the churro ice cream is a great finish. The beans are flavorful and well seasoned, and the rice is excellent. The amount of food for the price is phenomenal. The atmosphere is nice and family-friendly. The service is super sweet and on point. Billing is questionable but not out of line. This is the best Mexican food in a long time, and it is highly recommended for anyone in the Walton, Union, or Florence area.
