Soco's was a dandy local Mexican restaurant located in Fort Mitchell Kentucky. It was a rather small joint but had a rather vast menu of all sorts of Mexican favourites. We started with an appetizer of one of our Mexican staples; that being the Chori-Queso (they named it the "Queso Con Chorizo.") It was a great balance of the cheese and chorizo and made for a dandy dip. First time there under the new name. Didn’t seem quite right when the chunky salsa didn’t taste the same as when it was Montoya’s. Wife usually cleans her plate but only ate half of her dinner. I noticed a different taste to the ranchero sauce, not as good.

Soco’s Mexican Restaurant & Bar is a great little spot for Mexican. The food is always amazing, fantastic, and fire, with outstanding options like the Chori Pollo, the Machaca (only available here), and the Bandera Burrito. One of the favorite extra spicy salads is a highlight, as is their take on a Mexican pizza for sharing. The service is super friendly, top notch, and incredible, with staff that feels like family and remembers orders from previous visits. There are a lot of options for vegetarians, and the bartender will always get you right. The cozy atmosphere and music make for a great night out. Anything ordered off the menu will be amazing, and the food is better than any Mexican food in the Tri-State area. This family-owned spot has been serving the community for over 40 years.
