“We had a small family reunion lunch for 8. The atmosphere and decor of this restaurant were excellent. The bourbon slush was very good as was the Woodford old fashioned. We started off with fried green tomatoes. Four large slices of tomatoes. Very tasty but could have been a little thicker slices. I ordered the Hot Brown. It was a little different than I expected but it was delicious. I got the combo of country ham and turkey. Beautiful presentation as shown in my picture. Large portion. It could have easily been shared. One of us had pan fried (not deep fried) and it didn’t disappoint. The chicken salad looked great. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Because of the ample portions we shared two deserts. The blackberry cobbler with ice cream and peanut butter cheese cake. Not a complaint in the house. The blueberries actually held their shape and disappear in the cobbler. I wish we lived closer so we could visit more.“

“Soco's was a dandy local Mexican restaurant located in Fort Mitchell Kentucky. It was a rather small joint but had a rather vast menu of all sorts of Mexican favourites. We started with an appetizer of one of our Mexican staples; that being the Chori-Queso (they named it the "Queso Con Chorizo.") It was a great balance of the cheese and chorizo and made for a dandy dip. For my main course I tried the Chapala Plato which was 2 Chimichitos A Chimichito is a deep fried totortilla filled with choice of protein (I chose chicken), topped with cheddar cheese, and lettuce which I had left off. They were quite tasty as the chicken had tons of great flavour and the cheese was nice as always. The plate also came with refried beans and Mexican rice with the rice being especially delicious. This was a very tasty and also very inexpensive plate of food which is never a bad thing. The service was superb and restaurant was fun, vibrant, and festive. This a real treat to find and we can't wait to come back.“

“We had dinner at the downtown location this evening to celebrate my son’s graduation from the military, and leaving to report to his first assignment. From the time we were seated, to the time we left, several staff members came over to shake his hand and thank him for his service, even the General Manager. We always receive exceptional care from any Jeff Ruby’s establishment, but are so grateful to our amazing server Peter along with all of the other staff who took the time to make our family feel so special. While leaving the airport I Googled restaurants close by . There were several to choose from however, we decided on Pig Candy BBQ this restaurant did not disappoint. The food was amazing ( we had the special which was the brisket sandwich) this sandwich was very tender and full of flavor. If you are just traveling through or a local or feel up to a drive this is definitely worth your time .The staff knows what customer service means . All around Great food and service. “Stepping into The Lonely Pine is like being transported to an eclectic, chic, 70’s western in the absolute BEST way possible. We were each greeted at the host stand with a tasting of sparkling Cava. Our server was absolutely exceptional – so personable with extensive knowledge of the menu & history. We had the pleasure of meeting Chef/Owner Maddy Sheblessy, which was very cool – I’ve heard so many good things & it was nice to finally meet her.

To start the meal, we shared the signature poutine. It has the perfect amount of heat & features local cheese curds. In between bites I sipped on the Dame Prue – the perfect summer cocktail (& everyone’s favorite Brit). For my entree I enjoyed the petite filet with horseradish cream (buttery soft with a little heat – perfection), my husband had the Route 66 Burger (neither of us are big fans of pimento cheese, but this burger changed our minds), & we shared the seasonal veg (rainbow chard – a nice, light accompaniment).

I eventually moved onto another cocktail – the on the grind martini – & was pleasantly surprised at the delicious coffee (not everywhere does it right!). We polished off the meal with the seasonal chef special – a dulce de leche tres leches cake – & My. Goodness. It’s impossible not to smile while you eat this. It’s indulgent, it’s decadent, & it was the perfect ending to our meal.“

“Curry udon is one of my favorite Japanese food. I keep trying to find it in restaurants around Cincinnati. Here has the one close enough to original curry udon. Other restaurants just only light curry look like soup more than curry. I’ll go back and try more menu.“

“Mia was excellent. Great service and food. We had reservations on a Sunday at 1130. When we arrived, the restaurant was basically empty. We were seated - four adults looking to enjoy each other's company. Approximately 15 minutes after we sat down, the hostess sat a large party that included 5 toddlers. The noise level went through the ceiling. the entire restaurant was empty - or nearly so. What inspired the staff to sit this noisy bunch near us? We had just started eating making requesting a move very inconvenient to us.“
