Went here on our way through frankfort. Not open. Wish people would adjust their hours online.

Food was ok and the waitress was sweet, but the flies were horrible. I was scared to open my mouth to eat thinking one would fly in. There's no fountain drinks, you just have to buy by the can. I don't recommend taking kids, as there's no high chairs at all, and the railings are very easy to fall through. Definitely not family friendly.

Great little dive bar and the burgers were amazing. Friendly staff, sets right on the river. Looks a little sketchy when you first roll up, but glad I went on in. Perfect little hidden gem. Great atmosphere, great drink selections and awesome food. I highly recommend the burgers!!

Found this place on yelp and saw all the reviews. We stopped on a Thursday evening for dinner. Wanted a little ambiance and thought sitting on the river would be the ticket. It was karaoke night and loud and rambunctious which is ok if that's why you were going. The food was just ok. My burger was way overcooked and you have to order sides separately. We ordered the loaded tots and my husbands came out but mine never did. Had to constantly flag our girl down to order another beer and inquire on my missing tots. Service was substandard along with the food I'm sorry to say. Bill came and asked for the missing tots to be taken off and she came back with tots and I had to take them with me in the car.

Benson Marina is such a great change of pace. It is right there on the water (as the name implies). There is always a good crowd. I would rate it pretty bearable on the social anxiety scale. So have a good time and tell em Alan sent ya.

Nice place for lunch! Outdoor deck area. Indoor bar area. Boat deck. Grilled salad is worth the wait! Good food!

Great little place tucked back in along Benson Creek. A nice place to relax and have a great hamburger and cold beer. Very friendly people.

Dockside restaurant and bar with an old-school flattop grill, cheap beers, music blaring and a view of the water? Yes, please! Came here during a recent trip down the Kentucky Bourbon Trail and the crew was jonesing for a good ol' sloppy burger to help sop up some of the brown elixir we'd been consuming. Everyone orders burgers, some ordered tots and some ordered onion rings and we sat back to wait for the magic to happen. These were some near perfectly flattop char-grilled burgers, mine with grilled onions, pickle chips and American cheese...my wife's was a standard bacon cheeseburger. Onion rings were super crispy and thin, tots were very salty but perfectly crisp. Now fully in food coma mode, we made our way to the distillery for our next adventure!

I have been there twice. BOTH times the food was over cooked, the first time burned. The guy who cooks has no clue what he is doing. The service is good. Probably a better place to have a beer than eat.

We decided to dine here since it's "on the water" It's all outside dining. We had quick service and good food and drinks. Sodas and water etc are bottled. Piña colada was tasty. I had burger. Nothing extraordinary but it was good. My kids enjoyed watching the 20lb+ carp that are obviously trained by patrons to hang around for scraps. Overall I'd definitely return.

Great spot hidden down by the river on Benson Creek. This place might operate on "lake time" the food is great and you can't beat the friendly service. I try to keep an eye out for family owned places like this, and Benson Marina Boat Dock is a place I can't wait to come back to.

This is what you call a hidden gem close to Frankfort. My wife got a cheeseburger with cheese fries. While I choose the poppers to start off. Then I went with the Benson Burger with bacon dressed. I had to go with the Onion rings. It wasn't bad everything reminded us of bowling alley food (not a bad thing). This is not a military friendly location
