Fat Cats Billiards is hands down one of the best spots in Kentucky to unwind, play, and have a great time! The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between fun and laid-back—you can come here to compete seriously at the pool tables or just relax with friends and enjoy the vibe.
The tables are always well-maintained, the cues and equipment are in great shape, and you can tell the staff takes pride in keeping everything top-notch. Service is friendly and welcoming—everyone treats you like a regular, even on your first visit. The food and drinks are solid, and the prices are really reasonable for the quality of entertainment you get.
What I love most is the sense of community here. Whether you’re a seasoned pool player or just learning, Fat Cats makes everyone feel comfortable. It’s clean, spacious, and just has that cool “local favorite” energy that makes you want to come back again and again.

Fat Cats is exactly what Frankfort needs!! I believe it's the only spot in town with a Speakeasy. I started as a regular and recently started bartending here 1x a week because I enjoyed the vibes and craft cocktails.

The whole feel of the place is nice and relaxing. Awesome remodel job. Loved the aesthetic. Low lighting but not dark. The pool tables are great with plenty of room. The bartender was great and check in often. Had a great few hours shooting pool.

They had a food truck out front. Service was awesome and the atmosphere matched it! Different from any bar I've been to in Frankfort. It honestly felt like I was somewhere other than Frankfort. They have a game room with pool, ski ball, and more. They also had a chess room, which was dope! Very cool,chill, and laid back vibe. We plan on going there again this week. I highly recommend it 😊👍🏾👍🏾

One of the coolest spots I've ever been to. Two 8 ft tables up front you can play for only $4/hr, plus a 7 ft bar box in back ($1/rack) with other games. Bartender was a sweetheart and drinks were very reasonably priced. Had the pleasure of shooting a few games with the owner, will definitely be back.

Great vibes nice environment. Hidden gem. 2 pool tables $4 by the hour, or 2 quarter tables in back along with dartboards. But pool is free with drink purchase on Monday. Karaoke on Thursdays. They are nee and still working on their drinks and drafts, but I will be back
It’s awesome to witness the beginning of a new local business! The team behind the bar was chill, helpful, and didn’t seem stressed, that really helped set a relaxed vibe. I felt right at home and ready to shoot some pool. The front lounge has a calm, laid-back feel, and it looks like they can mix some pretty upscale drinks too. I can already tell this place is going to bloom and hit its 6-month goals early with the support of our community
