If you miss this stop on your Bourbon tour, you will be sorry. Extremely knowledgeable host. Great bouron and spirits. Good small group experience!! Dave was amazing! We miss him already!

We went down in July to this distillery and made a mistake. When we booked it online we had only reserved so many spots.. we forgot so when we got there after going to a few other places beforehand it was a bit chaotic... and one of our guests had to wait in the car. My daughter was 7 months pregnant and only drinking water so it was a tough start. You know what though? Sure they were kinda gruff and annoyed but who cares... they are real folk just working and taking time out of their day to share they know for tours. It's the real deal no BS... Dave produces some amazing bourbon and he's right... this other stuff can be a lot of sourced nonsense. Support them... forget about all the fancy huge distilleries for a minute. See this for what it is.. a great place and a very very knowledgeable distiller at work. Truly what bourbon is all about.

The best bourbon distillery in Frankfort! Lots of history with the location and a fabulous staff to meet! Not fancy, just fabulous!

Must see!! Emma was amazing today. We came from Georgia to visit the local distilleries and Glenn's creek did NOT disappoint!

I have been to most distilleries in KY and this is by far the best tasting experience and my favorite bourbon. I highly recommend stopping by and grabbing a bottle or more.

This is a review of their whiskey and not the distillery. I didn't do a tour (I'm don't enjoy them) or tasting (schedule didn't work) at the distillery. I just stopped by to pick up an order I placed on line. Let's be honest - the building isn't one of the shining gems on the bourbon trail, but they put out some outstanding whiskey from their distillery.
Most people know them for the OCD #5 which is amazing; however, I think they have 2 or 3 just as good A-Maize-ing bottles (their 100% corn) and the Hamilton Dark (a grain & cane that is my favorite) are the 2 that come to mind.
If you're going to KBF this week, stop in and buy a good bottle from these folks. If you're going to Woodford, you're 5 miles away. If you're at Castle & Key, you are literally next door to them. For the price of 1 unicorn bottle, you could literally buy their entire lineup with money left over AND have some fabulous juice.

My husband, a non-bourbon drinker talked me into going after some reviews from a YouTube channel we watch. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised by the end. They don’t offer a traditional distillery tour. What they do offer is lots of tasting options, good authentic conversation, fun “facts” and transparency. After the tasting was over and other groups left, we hung out and chatted with David which was unique and not rushed. There’s something to be said also for the small batch single barrel concept. 2 bottles of OCD 5 bursting with very unique flavors. Check them out if you’re in the area.

This place is so deceiving! When you pull up you might think you’re in the wrong the place, you’re not. Dave is the owner and master distiller and the tasting is led in the middle of the production room. It is the most unique experience you will find on the trail. Dave has a dry stark sense of humor but it’s witty and endearing. The tequila and swheat were fan favorites. You must make this a stop on your trip! He will also sign your bottles if you’re nice :)

Had a great tasting with Cranky Dave. Came away a bit lighter in the wallet but much richer in knowledge and experience. I mean, you can't dispute it with all of the awards on the wall! And that power point presentation...chef's kiss!

This was the best experience so far, Dave's explanation of thier process was phenomenal.......he was smart, very witty and definitely no BS which was the best.

Doesn't get any better than to sit in a group of three and pick the owner / master distiller's brain for an hour. No it's not fancy or beautiful or a tour, but if you want that there are plenty of other places. What you'll get here is gritty, down to earth, no BS, and great conversation. Oh and the whiskey (and everything else he does) tastes great.

Very small intimate setting but a great place to chat one on one with the distillers and discuss the finer notes in bourbon -- great samples and the hour spent very enjoyable and laid back; purchased some bottles of bourbon to take home to Ohio with some neat merchandise

Emma led an informative and entertaining tasting. We elected to try six different liquors. It's not a fancy place, but the charm of the staff and the quality of the product make up for that. You have to try Flippin' the Bird and get the story about how it came about.

This distillery makes some of the best bourbon and rye whiskey that my family has ever had! Our tour/tasting with the founder, Dave was a treat. His knowledge and wit show through in the products and attitudes of the distillery. Do not skip Glenn’s Creek on the your bourbon trail trip!

This was a great stop on our trail yesterday. @Emma Rector was an amazing host for our tastings we had. They have some great products. She was very knowledgeable and had a great personality. This should be a place you stop and see.
