Unique and eclectic menu. The service is top notch. Our server was very friendly and helpful. She took the time to explain different menu items to us and make recommendations and was very attentive. The food was of very high quality and the menu offers just enough to have something for everyone's liking. I will definitely be back and highly recommend that you give it a try.

Limewater is a family-owned and -operated bistro and bar in Frankfort, Kentucky. We went here for lunch while on a bourbon tour and the food, ambiance, and service were all exceptional.

Where to begin. Absolutely outstanding dining experience. The menu concentrated in elevated versions of classic favorites. My personal faves were the shrimp and grits, fritters, and the BLT sandwich. The signature cocktail, the 1815, was an outstanding use of the restaurant’s signature butter-washed bourbon. I drank it to the lees, and hated to see it come to an end.
