Pulling up we thought it was just another over-hyped bbq place but we were very wrong. The place has amazing staff, great family atmosphere, and even better food. What a great BBQ place. Highly recommend. Everything was fantastic.

The beef brisket is outstanding. The barbecue is good Fridays they have fried catfish, which is great an old-fashioned barbecue joint with the blues playing and atmosphere is nice. People are friendly. Service is great.

Have eaten at Staxx several times but today's experience prompted me to write a review. Stopped in at 3pm with my family today for a late lunch early supper. Normally when you go to a restaurant that time of day the food is sub-par, not Staxx. The food was fresh and delicious. We did have to wait 7 minutes for them to cook the chicken tenders but I was told up front and I didn't mind waiting on fresh tenders. My wife is Gluten sensitive and has no trouble finding food...
