Came tonight for dinner with a friend but she was not feeling well. Was about to order dinner and some nice bourbon flights when was told my friend could not have a plain grilled cheese because it was on the kids menu. She could order a grilled pimento cheese sandwich but not a plain cheese. Offered to pay adult pieces but was denied. Feel sorry for the staff who lost out on nice gratuity. We will not be back nor recommend it on our bourbon tour review.

The truth, it's an unassuming "shack" on the creek between Castle & Key and Woodford that has great food! Put this food in town and you wouldn't be able to get near the place. It's totally a roadhouse kind of vibe, zero fancy, can get pretty tight when they're busy, but the staff work their butts off and our sandwiches were fantastic and came out amazingly quick for as busy as it was. Sandwiches $16-$18 with a side, not an outrageous price. Smoked bologna sandwich was the best I've had. Meats smoked in house, sauces and dressings house made. I would recommend reservations, but they did a good job adjusting tables to squeeze in the walk-ins.
Parking: Smallish gravel lot. If they're packed, it could get a bit tight.
Kid-friendliness: Probably not the best for the littles. Close spaces, lots of activity and noise, definitely more of a roadhouse vibe, not playland.
Wheelchair accessibility: Not a good choice for mobility issues.

Allie was a wonderful server to our group of 8 rowdy people. This is my 2nd time, but my friends' first time here! Food was fantastic! Our top recommendations are the grits, blacked fish, chicken sandwich, and burger! Great cocktails!

Place was dirty. Server was uninterested. Food was overcooked and our requests were ignored. Beer was skunked.
Bottom line. Filthy place with bad food. Didn’t even eat half our plates and server said “glad you enjoyed the food”. Clueless.

We ate at the bar and the bartender was amazing, he helped with dinner choices and was very informative and a great conversationalist. The food was fantastic, I had the blackened catfish with grits and my wife had the shrimp and grits. We would go back in a heartbeat.
Really wish I could give a better review. The waitress was nice and tried hard. First The place is way over priced.All of our food was super salty and the corn bread was so hard you could have killed someone with it. Bummer! The drinks were good but really expensive. The waitress was so overwhelmed no chance for a refill or to check on us. We asked before ordering the check split for 2 families….that went completely wrong. They tried. That place has potential but we will not be back.
Such a cool place. Tons of bourbon options. Bit pricey on the pours but very awesome experience. Bread pudding was the best we have ever had!

Wife and I popped in on several suggestions from friends and locals. Also, it's right between several of the distilleries we were touring. Don't let the outside fool you. Tiny but cozy. Fantastic food, service, and atmosphere inside! You can also opt to take a drink up to the deck overlooking Glenn's Creek. Bourbon selection is, of course, excellent and varied. Spirits also available for purchase. Pick up a bottle to go!

Wendy is a wonderful server; attentive, informative, helpful. The blackened catfish was moist, tender and flavorful. The shrimp were cooked perfect and had the right amount of spice. The grits were fantastic. This is a places off the beaten path that I'll remember and return too.

Our tour guide put us on this diamond in the rough lunch spot. Great atmosphere and variety on the menu. We had the burger, chicken sandwich and BBQ platter. All had very nice portions and they delivered on portions.
