Fantastic place for a Harley-Davidson ride!
Peach was a wonderful darling who made our experience amazing! 10/10 recommends stopping in. She is the BEST!
We came to visit Bowling Green for a road race my wife’s first time in Kentucky and we wanted to have some Kentucky bourbon, we came to Dueling Grounds and it was a fantastic experience. We were greeted warmly and welcomed, our host/bartender I believe his name was Zach was very helpful explaining what gets made there and how… and explained the cocktails. My wife and I and our dog Myles made friends with a group of folks who go there every week and they were very friendly also. We got some great tasty cocktails, ordered a pizza, a pretzel and celebrated the race with some desserts. The pizza was good, the cheesecake with hot honey was delicious and the ice cream was very good. Again hospitality was great and dog friendly was such a positive.
Stopped by on our way back to Alabama from a weekend getaway in Kentucky. . We like to stop and visit different distilleries while in Kentucky. I had the Kentucky Mule and my husband had a flight. We also ordered a pizza, the White William, from the pizza shop. It was delicious!
Everything was great. Staff was very friendly and informative. We would recommend visiting this distillery while in town.
Daniel makes the best whiskey sours and apple pie old fashioned that we have ever had. This is a must try stop if you are in the area.
Very nice experience we didn't do a tour but had cocktails and pizza. We did purchase a bottle of 6 year bourbon. It's a small distillery but worth exploring.
What a unique and interesting distillery....licensed in 2015, opened their doors in 2017 and only selling small batch and single barrel products that they literally source from a single farm 20 miles up the road, mill, mash, barrell, and bottle their own...and oh, btw, half pizza parlor also....definitely a unique, craft distillery, and a very friendly Joshua behinf the bar!
Was in the area while touring the National. Corvette Museum needed something to do and I had never done a distillery tour so I found this place. Really was not what I was expecting. I drove passed it had to turn around. If you go here you will know why it was so easy to miss.
DO NOT LET THE OUTSIDE OF THIS BUILDING FOOL YOU. if you do you will miss out on a really good small distillery with a bartender (I can’t call him that) a mixologist who knows his products and how to make a really well made cocktail. This place was really a nice stop a place to relax share some good drinks. Oh and by the way they are more than happy to show you how and where what you are enjoying is made.
Really need to name our mixologist and tour guide at this point Zac. It was a Sunday so by law they were not distilling any alcohol. We started with an adult beverage named the Re-Roasted. What a presentation well mixed and then smoked finished with a torched orange peel. This was the kind of drink that will just take you away and get you in trouble if you’re not careful. I was driving so I had to keep my head on straight but I could have easily just spent the rest of the afternoon sitting in this place getting lost. Oh wait I did but I kept my alcohol intake to two beverages.
Now my partner in crime my son he was a passenger so he could try out a couple more of Zack’s skills. I sampled those and found them also to be outstanding. Then my son ordered the Spicy Old Fashioned. Now I am a chili head and enjoy spicy foods and beverages. But this while good was SPICY. So you have been warned.
Then came his third a Kentucky Mule. I had never had a Mule before but like with the old fashioned I sampled this beverage as well. Remember I am trying to be the responsible one. I sampled this and I had to have one. This was my second beverage over a 4 hour period. For my first mule I picked a very well made version. As my son said if this is your first one it’s all downhill from this point as this was a well made beverage by his standards.
We ended up closing the place down that day and headed off to dinner. Wait I almost forgot to tell you about the distillery tour. Zack was our tour guide for this part. He explained the entire process to us and showed off the still and bottling station. The Linkumpinch Bourbon that is made here is really a well made small batch product. They even hand bottle the product four bottles at a time.
To show how small this distillery is we met the owner who i assume is also the master distiller, and his banker and other friends of his in the distilling area. Before we left I Zack allowed me to sample all three bourbons they had for sale. I choose to take home the 6 year old special edition. I thought so Mark thank you for making such I great product. I will only allow this bottle out in the wild for very special occasions. I thought so much of Mark’s handiwork I asked his to autograph the bottle for me. I will visit again.
We had the best time. We got there early for our tour and it being lunchtime, we ordered some pizza. I had the hot shot and it was delicious. We then had our tour which was entertaining and informative. Finally we got to sample and taste test and they were generous with the amount of different drinks you could taste. Well worth the visit!
This was such a fun experience. The tour was fantastic, the food was delicious and the tasting was absolutely delicious. Everyone was so kind and very passionate about their process. I wish this company all the success that they absolutely deserve. Their product is fantastic.

Took their tour with friends and three kids in tow. Tickets were $15 for each adult (kids free). Tickets get you four small tastings and one small snack that you order from a menu when you arrive. They prepare your tasting while you go on the tour. Your consisted of a detailed history of the area, leading to how the distillery got its name, a history and explanation of standards for making (good) bourbon, and then you get to go see each step of the brewing and distilling process. The guides were well spoken, entertaining, knowledgeable, and engaging. Happy to answer questions and join us on tangents if thought. The tour was detailed and intimate.
Worth every penny. Go for it if you are in the area.
This was by far the best distillery experience we had on our trip. We walked in to them opening the first barrels they made 9 years ago. Pure southern hospitality to welcome us in for that experience. They were very friendly and the bourbon was great. Highly recommend. Congratulations on your success!
Great pizza and great atmosphere!
Great bourbon, friendly folks & good food too! Loved the 6 year bourbon, hubby liked the 4 year. Mixed drinks served as well! Will stop in again on our travels!
Small establishment, clean, friendly. Owner was reasonable. Four stars because it was a tad pricey
