Today was my first time visiting and it was amazing. The owner was very down to earth and the food was top notch. Will definitely be back. If you are in the area it is a must try!

Had brisket plate with bbq beans and Mac&cheese.I wish I had known they were going to sprinkle seasoning on it.It doesn't need it. Brisket is tender with good smoke, and juicy. Doesn't need sauce either.Bbq beans too sweet, tasted like canned baked beans mixed with ketchup.Mac and cheese ok. Little dry not creamy. Maybe they warmed up leftovers.Cornbread is thin, flat, and drenched in butter.BTW you get a choice on bread. My server didn't even ask. Just gave me a hamburger bun. Only got to try cornbread bcs another person at table had it.

Crossed the state line to enjoy the BEST BBQ every! Enjoyed an amazing sandwich and fries, then took 3 lbs of pulled pork back home. (Always bring a cooler)

I was traveling with a friend back home from a forestry conference and stopped for some BBQ. I was not disappointed!The food (brisket) was certainly tasty and I really enjoyed the custom BBQ sauces. I bought some sauce to bring home. I was planning to order the loaded fries but thought would be too much food, maybe next time!I chatted with Jeff, the owner, for several minutes about the business story and how the business started (about 19 years ago). In short time, I could tell that Jeff's priorities are serving people delicious BBQ and providing a relational customer service experience.Jeff thanked us for driving by all of the other places and stopping in. This place is a few miles off the Interstate but is definitely worth making the extra effort!Thank you for the delicious food! I will definitely stop by again if I am ever in the area!Kid-friendliness: Great sit down atmosphere for families with kids.

If you're looking to get a feel for a proper small southern town BBQ place then there is none better than Wildfire BBQ. As soon as you walk in you're greeted by the aroma of BBQ pork and spices, not to mention the friendly staff. My personal favorite is the loaded baked potato. It's massive and topped with BBQ pork and your choice of onions, peppers, sauce, beans, and sour cream.

If I ever move to Franklin, I'm getting a place in walking distance to here! Some of the best BBQ I've ever had. Reasonable prices, friendly and helpful service.My party had the 1/2 chicken plate, the brisket sandwich and I had the brisket plate with "hog fries" (seasoned fries) and Fried Corn on the Cob. Fantastic food and reasonably priced for what you get. Everyone left VERY happy.
Stopped in while traveling with my family. Found WB&G on a whim and I am pleased to say we were glad we did. We were greeted with a hearty welcome, the menu was explained to us, placed our order and the next thing we knew we were eating some very good food. The food was delicious, the restaurant was very clean and the service was excellent!! We will definitely stop in again and we highly recommend it.

This ain't it.. over priced stomach ache variety is good but it's like they soak the food in grease franklin needs another bbq place bad
