“Let me tell you, this place is absolutely wonderful in every aspect. My wife and I ate there tonight and can’t express how amazing everything was! The hospitality, the food, the atmosphere, everything. 5 stars all around. I wish I could remember the name of our waitress because she deserves some recognition for her outstanding service. She was a tall, younger, brunette.
We left that place with a full belly and a great experience. You won’t regret your decision if you decide to eat here!“

“Ritter House is a place on 31-E in Barren county between Good Night and Glasgow Kentucky. The food is good and the Service is fast and friendly. It just has that small town friendly atmosphere that makes the place feel very welcoming. If you’re in the area and you want some good home style food like your Grandma made then this place will not disappoint. I highly recommend the Ritter House.“

“The food is AMAZING!! We got the Pad Thai and Pineapple Fried Rice. Ask for the white sauce. It was so good we went a second time to eat there and we placed an order to go so we could enjoy it again later in the week.
The restaurant is not fancy and the menu is not vast. But what they offer is done exceptionally well. Abigail was our server. She was very attentive and took great care of us while we were there. She even remembered my preferences when we went back the second time!
Sadly we were just traveling through. If we lives nearby, we would be regulars!!

Parking: We have a long bed dually truck. It can be a challenge to find parking in the city. We parked in a the lot of a business catty corner to the restaurant the was closed for the day.“

“Some of the best barbecue around and let me just tell you they have a deluxe meatloaf sandwich that will make you smack your mama it has pepper jack cheese and a spicy mustard coleslaw comes on two big pieces of Texas toast and this sandwich is ever bit of an inch and a half 2 in thick if you haven't tried this place you're missing out“

“The food on the buffet, according to my mother, was just ok. My pancakes, I ordered off the menu, Delicious! Coffee was good, not spectacular but not the worst..lol Our waitress was great and did a great job, my only complaint is that she had dropped my cakes and didn't let me know about the delay until I said something about " How long does it take to make pancakes?"..I would've not cared had I been told. Wasn't in a big hurry, but mom already almost finished eating when I said something.
Update: 8/20/24 went to have pancakes..never have I ever seen such little pancakes..and for what they charge..ridiculous! Coffee was good. But the previous visit the pancakes were normal size! 4 pancakes on the menu is 5.99 but 2 each is 10$ they looked like they were off the kiddie menu! This is their last chance with me.“
