“Down home (Scioto County) we really don't have chain ice cream places other than Dairy Queen. This mom and pop shop is in franklin furnace, (GREEN to the locas) they have hot food as well as cold treats. Very nice and clean, service is what you expect from an area where southern hospitality begins.“

“I love this place. We drive from Virginia and it is always the fist place we hit. The hotdogs with sauce are the best around as well as their onion rings (yum). Yesterday we also got a butterscotch milkshake, holy mother of all things merciful get yourself a butterscotch milkshake. Been a fan of Crisps for over 50 years and the fandom continues.“

“A true gem. Great service and food. My family was treated amazing. Hotdogs were so good. We ate all types of food. Burgers, chicken sandwiches, hotdogs, loaded fries, and the fair desserts and shakes to top it off. We will be return customers and love supporting a great small business.“
