“Redtop BBQ catered a farewell for us today and they did an incredible job with the food! The pork and chicken were both amazing, with a perfect smoky flavor, moist and delicious! The sauces were all outstanding. The baked beans were on point as well! Everyone was extremely happy with the spread and any left overs were quickly claimed to for people to take home! Many many compliments from everyone on everything. So I think everything was on point. Their pricing is amazing and they even give military discount! Very kind and attentive owners and made the entire process very smooth. We will be using them from now on for our BBQ needs!“

“The street tacos were excellent. The steak was well-seasoned and topped with a generous amount of onions and cilantro, plus two slices of avocado that balanced everything out nicely. The margarita was also just right — refreshing without being overly strong.

Update: I came back to dine inside this time. I was were welcomed with chips and salsa along with a regular frozen margarita. The salsa has a nice kick — definitely spicy but still enjoyable. The service was friendly and welcoming, which made a great impression since I’m not from the area. It’s a small-town spot with a relaxed vibe, and it wasn’t crowded during my visit.

About halfway through my tacos de carne asada plate, though, I ran into a couple pieces of steak gristle that I had to spit out, which took away from the experience a bit. Overall, the flavors are great and the atmosphere is warm, but the meat quality could be a little more consistent.“

“Earlier this week, I got a job to photoshoot a family after their courthouse wedding on Friday. Living an hour a way, I wasn’t familiar with the vineyards but it was recommended. I called and talked to a young lady that said we were more than welcome to do the shoot there. I got there early and had a wine tasting (yummy Chardonnay and Rose’) while I waited on my clients. I had been told there were just a few family members and their children coming along with the couple. About 20 adults came and we sort of took over the place. If the staff got frustrated, I didn’t see it for one second. I know my client and his group ordered a lot of wine so I am hoping that the sales were pleasing for the owners that afternoon. They had food samples out at the tasting bar and there were a lot of things in the gift shop that look very appealing to a shopper like me. This place is a real gem hidden in the middle of an industrial area off the interstate. Their grapes were getting ready to be harvested so it looks like August is a good time to go see them at their largest size. We were told to go anywhere we wanted just don’t touch the grapes as they were getting ready to be picked! If I’m in the area again, I will definitely go back. Looks like they have music and food trucks from time to time too. May be a wonderful day trip this Fall! Go visit them now and tell them I sent you!“

“I love eating at Ms. Lucille's, but I brought my daughter and grandson there for a later lunch last week. The food was delicious, as usual, but--the service left so much to be desired. First, we sat there for about 10 minutes waiting to be waited on--one lady said she'd be back, then another lady came over waited on us. The service was just extremely slow. Then we watched a child at the next table spill their drink all over the table and floor, while the waitress acted as if she couldn't see it. I realize that this is a crappy part of waiting tables, but you should help your customer. No, the mother and grandpa had to clean up the area themselves. I realize it's hard to find good help nowadays, but some on, the place wasn't even half full??? Again, the food is well worth the trip, but the service is lacking.“

“We had a really nice Sunday lunch at Cracker Barrel. The littles ordered the kids’ pancakes, and they were soft, fluffy, and came out quickly — perfect for hungry little ones. “Food was great, we ordered 2 medium rare porterhouse steaks with potatoes and salad. They were cooked perfectly. Very little fat (just for flavor. We also got the onion and firecrackers shrimp for a starter. ( We took a lot home and it was good for 3 meals for us) the waitstaff was courteous and checked often for refills and anything else we may need. They didn't bother us, just checked. The corner we were in was quiet enough for us to talk without being loud and the resteraunt was nice and clean. It was a nice evening out.

“We have started becoming the new Friday karaoke regulars with DJ Scott and the entire vibe is fun, exciting , friendly, a great experience for groups that want to get out there and enjoy music and singing while having a nice dinner as well as a fabulous cocktail. The staff is very friendly and bubbly and even partakes in the karaoke fun. Come out and join the growing Friday night crowd with us. I promise it is worth it . We have been having a ball, and lots of laughs. Make sure someone in the group comes with a good song for everyone to rock out too. I love this place! “Went to the Texas Roadhouse in Clarksville TN yesterday. They were out of rolls. The waitress said that they weren’t making any more tonight and it was only 8:30 pm. Do better Texas Roadhouse do better.“

“I was craving a salad from Logans but I instead picked up one of their meal specials. Got a drink, salad, 6 Oz steak and side for 16.99. The steak could have been cooked a little better. The steak had 3 different cooked styles on it, not sure how it was possible but it was. The flavor was good, so I ate the majority of it.
On the windows it said they had peanuts, I was never offered any or even saw where I could get some. Most of the logans are closing in my area so I figured I'd give this one a shot. There was only about 4 tables taken. Sadly this location will probably close as well with the lack of customers and the abundance of restaurants around the area to choose from.“

“My dad and I visit the Clarksville IHOP often. They remember him and acknowledge him, which means a lot to him and to me. He is 86 and disabled. They always are smiling and attentive. Thank you to each of their employees for being so awesome! And you can't beat their $6 Faves Specials!“
