This is one of the most peaceful family friendly campgrounds around. We plan on staying here a lot. We highly recommend camping here! Campground manager does a wonderful job assisting campers and providing a safe and friendly atmosphere.
Tried to go for lunch, but they only serve breakfast now. Went back the next day for breakfast and we were offered a buffet. The buffet was a selection of soft biscuits, sausage gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, pancakes with hot syrup, fried potatoes and baked apples. They also had an assortment of cereal, yogurt and granola. The view is spectacular. Just through the trees and off of a green grass landing is the lake. There is a bench to sit on, if you so desire. Just a heads up, so as to not be confused like we were. This restaurant is located inside the lodge/hotel. It is open to the public. We dined in for breakfast. It was good food, and the service was friendly as well.
