“We rented a 3 bedroom cottage for my daughters Graduation from Murray State. I have stayed here in the past. THe lodge is not the most stunning facility but typical of most state lodges. Our Cottage was ok a little worn out which is expected since the state government doesn’t fund the park like they should, but it was adequate and nice but dated. Breakfast was included and they offered tow options traditional breakfast (eggs, home fries, bacon, biscuit and gravy) or a waffle and choice of meat. The food was great and my son loved the waffle. The wait staff was great.“

“Visiting Kentucky Lake for our yearly fishing trip, we had a rain out day and ventured into Benton to find a restaurant and hit the Walmart. Wow! Our group was so happy we chose Jo Jo’s. My husband had the tamales, I had a side plate with beans turnip greens and fried potatoes. Others had breakfast plates. Everyone raved about their food. Our service was excellent, as well. I ordered a slice of strawberry pie to share with the table and we all said it was one of the best slices of pie we ever ate! We visit this part of Kentucky every spring and Jo Jo’s will no doubt become a tradition for us.“

“We are regulars to visiting the lake and were excited to try a new place. The service was excellent and the food was fantastic. We had the pork nachos and pizza chimichanga. After tasting both, I can't wait to try the pulled pork chimichanha next time!“

“Can't go wrong at Culver's anywhere!!! It's the only place these days where the food comes out hot and fresh. So tired of wasteing my money on the other chains like McDonald's and Chick-fil-A where the food is barely warm.Vegetarian options: Salads steamed broccoli onion rings are to die for. “We enjoyed our visit. We had a double cheese burger and onion rings, which she said was great. I had a hot ham and cheese, French fried, and battered mushrooms which was good as well. All food came out hot and all seemed to be freshly made not sitting under lamps for ages!The atmosphere is what you make it but I've rated high as everyone was happy and seemed to be enjoying their food. If you're looking for a fancy over decorated place this isn't it but it sure was worth going to.Next time my husband and I drive by we will definitely be stopping for him to try it out too.Wheelchair accessibility: Did not look for a restroom, but everything else is wheelchair friendly“

“Wow! Boss Hogg's was fantastic. We went there not quite knowing what to expect since their reputation in previous years was not good. They have new owners, and we had a wonderful experience. We all ordered burgers and fries and they were delicious and fairly priced. The waitress was excellent, and the owner came around to ask how things were. So friendly and appreciative of our business. We can't wait to go back and try the fried pickles and tacos.“

“First time at Fast Eddie's. Definitely the fisherman's paradise with a great variety of rods etc. The food ain't bad either. We came for steak and it was delicious. Our steaks were a tad fatty but the taste and texture of the meat was hands down the best we've had in years. Baked potato was also top notch. Expect to pay $60+ for dinner but it was well worth it.“

“If you are in the area this place is worth checking out. They have a variety of food from BBQ, Fish, Steaks, and some Cajun. The pulled pork and brisket were awesome! Server was prompt , friendly, professional. We will return when we come back in town!“

“Stopped in finally to check out this local place and the owners are SUPER nice people who truly care and make everything from scratch on site. Food was great and I'm not a fan of Christian music per se but if you ARE they have all kinds of CD's for free and to purchase of Christian music. They have live Christian music there sometimes too. Would definitely recommend their food! Give it a try! I had the sausage sandwich and it was great! Only thing I could recommend is instead of mustard they need a red sauce for it like they have at the fair. They're from Chicago originally so mustard on them must be a Chicago thing. I don't like mustard and it was a little bit dry with nothing. But still good! Freshly grilled peppers and onions and a good sized sub bun. Fresh cut fries were good but maybe a tiny bit over cooked, I just prefer them not so dark because they get hard and it hurts my teeth, but that's not their fault that I have bad teeth. LolKid-friendliness: Very nice, clean atmosphere, saw other families come in while we were there. Great food for EVERY member of the family and a nice atmosphere. A little diamond in the rough.“

“The portions are smaller than most restaurants these days but the prices are fair. The staff is amazing and it’s a cute place to go. I had the biscuits and gravy with sausage and eggs and my husband had the French dip. I will definitely go back.“

“The food was excellent! It was my first Waffle House experience ever and I was impressed for real! The server's was on top of it. Not one customer went without a refill or the offer at least. To me that's an important factor I consider when I pay the check. Everyone was friendly and even though my meal was someone else's treat I'd give it 5 stars all the way across the board even if it hadn't been. I would recommend this Waffle House location to anyone looking for a good breakfast at least and I'm sure from the food I ate their lunch and dinner menu items are just as good. I'll definitely be visiting them again and I'll update this review as well according to how everything goes. So far Great job you guy's keep up the good work and I look forward to eating here again probably be one day this week!“

“When I went, a Thursday evening, my group was seated immediately. We got an amazing table away from the other people, and the atmosphere was cozy, as expected at a Cracker Barrel. We had the BEST possible server, shoutout to Addy, you were amazing! There was a computer glitch, causing the kitchen to receive our ticket late, which our server told us about as soon as she found out. Still, we only waited about 20 minutes for our food. Addy kept us updated and checked in with us frequently during this. Once we got our food, she made sure my friends steak was cooked to her liking, and asked if everything looked ok. It looked amazing, and was hot and fresh. Addy continued to make sure we had everything we needed, and was able to even ask if we went to the local college and what our majors were. The experience was probably the best service I’ve ever had.“
