I hadn't been to this building since it was Ponderosa but I'm certainly glad I did! The staff here are so much better than other Mexican restaurants in Hazard. The food is very good and reasonably priced. I ordered the Papitas with steak chicken and shrimp. The portion size was HUGE. Could easily have fed 3 or more people for 12.99. I love eating there! The food if fresh. The guacamole to to die for! The best in town. The staff is so nice and very clean. The price is great. Why have fast food when you can have great food for about the same price?

This is the best Mexican restaurant in Hazard, it blows Sazon and La Pena out of the water. The quality of the food is so much better than the other two restaurants and the portions are also much bigger. I hope El Toro will be around for a very long time! Delicious! ?
