I used to go a lot to this restaurant at old location and new. I have not been in about two years. Because of the rudeness of the staff. particularly the older lady who waited on me. She went and waited on other people who came after me. then was very rude in taking my order. The order took about 40 minutes to come up. When it did some of it was wrong. I told the waitress and got more rudeness. I have not been back because of this issue....

This place is great. Not too many places like this left. It’s a must stop every time we are down that way.

Service was the most disappointing. Server brought the food - did not come back to see if we needed anything. No refills on drinks offered . The food was just as disappointing- I do not plan to eat there anytime in the future.

They had a few customers when I stopped in. Never been before. One woman was working by herself on the floor. She did great and was juggling a lot. There’s no sign to tell you how seating works so I stood waiting. Was given a menu and took drink order. I ordered and received my dinner shortly after. The mashed potatoes were all lumps. The chicken was hot and fresh. The peas and mashed potatoes were just room temperature. No real flavor or seasoning to either. Was really looking for some good home cooked food while out on the road. The pie was delicious. Maybe it was just an off night for them but it wasn’t busy just steady. I’ll give it another try next time I’m in.

Fantastic small town diner. Reminded me of visiting family in Southern Alabama. I got the fried porkchops, mashed potatoes, fried okra (not pictured) and fried green tomatoes. ?

Very clean place polite service just extremely slow and I can't speak for the whole menu but my dish was very bland.

France’s diner crosses my mind often! It’s the closest gravy I’ve found to my dad’s which is the best gravy I’ve ever had! On some mornings it may be better! I love this restaurant and staff so much I feel like part of the family everytime I’m there! ❤️❤️❤️
