I love giving local businesses my patronage. They have raised their prices too high for me though. My breakfast was very good but the Eastgate special was $15.29 and that was with water. I left a $ 3.00 tip which is less than I usually give because of the price. So over $18 for breakfast without coffee. I hope they gave their employees substantial raises. Sorry but it looks like McDonald’s for me from now on. That same breakfast 3 years ago was exactly $9.00 with coffee.
They have good food, nice workers. It was nice eating breakfast in there with my husband and a restaurant full of elderly men meeting their friends for breakfast. I like eating there.
The start of my first official day in Kentucky kicked off at Eastgate Family Restaurant. My friend who’s from here advised that Eastgate Family Restaurant has the best breakfast in the city. Based on what he said I had to go.As Eastgate Family Restaurant sits in a parking plaza there is ample parking. Upon walking it you are met with a sign to seat yourself.
