Bakeries in Horse Cave

“This café was a wonderful little find in the tiny town of Horse Cave. We stopped in, quite honestly, because it was the only place we could find to eat, but were pleasantly surprised. The buffet is simple, and inexpensive, but the food was surprisingly good. We all ate more than we normally would have because it tasted like real food! The desserts were also excellent, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely go back next time we are near that area.“

“Amish type of place. Lots of homemade type goods and things. Has a restaurant on one side. You look at a menu that is at the entrance then place your order and pay at the pay counter for the store. Then go sit in the restaurant area. They call your name when it's ready and you get it. So it's sort of a self service type restaurant. They just make your food. Food was good. Breakfast sandwich I had had everything on it. Sourdough bread, hashbrown, egg, cheese, bacon, and sausage. Can't remember what it was called but delicious. Good prices as well! Cool place!“
