Haven't been here in decades. Mom and Pop would stop here on our way to Rough River. Remembered it being a nice place with good food. Wasn't disappointed. Interior looked a little different from what I remembered. It was a cold ,wet day when we get there and after a few cups of coffee I began to unthaw. Really enjoyed ourselves. Service was prompt and courteous .Parking: Parked right by the entrance door. Nobody awake yet so we pretty much had the place to ourselves.
This quaint leisurely stop was a great choice for a quick breakfast on the run. Choose where you sit, near the window to watch your vehicle if you need to. We read the reviews, some complaining about wait time, but we experienced fast, courteous service. The waitress was pleasant and helpful. The food was great!!! My sister and I were in Irvington KY today and decided to grab a bite to eat at Green Valley Restaurant. The decor was nice in the area where we chose to sit but the table was wobbly on the pedestal. Needs to be examined and possibly repaired because I believe that the screws were probably loose or stripped.
