“Visiting from out of town and was looking for someplace that served up some Burgoo. I first tried burgoo at Churchill Downs and really enjoyed the taste. I saw an article online listing Double H BBQ as one of the top burgoo locations in Lexington and decided to give it a try. Glad I did. Their burgoo was broth based and what I was looking for. Also tried the white chicken chili, green beans and a small brisket sandwich. Everything I tried was good and made my belly happy.“

“This bbq spot catered our company (Toyota) for our driver appreciation week and I don’t know where to begin oh wait yes i do!!!! Im going to start by saying babyyyyyy the peach bread pudding was the bomb absolutely delicious… Ok the pulled chicken with Memphis sweet bbq sauce, bbq baked beans,green beans and beer cheese grits were also good buttttt that peach bread pudding ❤️❤️… i highly recommend and the server he was so nice i didn't catch his name but he know who he is…“

“My mother brought me for dinner and as a first time experience it was amazing all around the board. The food was delicious , fresh and fairly priced. The best part was our waiter Eric. He was patient and explained the menu to help recommend fan favorite items. He recommended the banana pudding and I honestly don’t like that dish but after trying it that was my favorite and I will be back to get more!“

“Fantastic!! Nicest staff ever, too. The hushpuppies are to die for - don't miss out. Every time we have ever ordered food from here, it's fast, fresh, and hot. Consistently delicious, as well. Highly recommend this place! They have a rewards program that really does have great benefits.“

“This spot is great for a casual bite to eat. They have very good food and I will definitely be back. I took away one star because of the appearance. In fact the first night when we pulled in we actually ended up leaving because it just looks so run down and there is a dilapidated hotel or something in the back. But after reading more reviews we decided to give it a try the next night and were sorry we didn't come in the night before. The food and service are excellent! Don't be scared off by the appearance.“

“First time eating here! And it was the best experience ever. I got curbside pickup and the lady that brought me my food was super friendly and very nice. The food was worth every penny. I got the baked potato with brisket and it was huge the brisket was amazing. My 17yo looked at me and says why have we never eaten here before it the new favorite place for him! That says a lot. I would recommend to anyone looking for great BBQ food!!“

“What a pleasant surprise to find this place right off the highway; I liked the food and the vibe (leather booths and copper accents). We enjoyed the Trifecta appetizer combo, sliders, and the burger. Jonathan took good care of us. Very reasonable prices too. We’ll be back!“

“Was at proud Mary's for mothers day and had an wonderful time. Food was amazing. Upstairs bathroom was super clean. Out side area was super clean staff was also amazing and super clean. I see comments about an bathroom being not so clean. Well here is what I have to say don't let your children stuff whole roles of butt paper in the John's and if u make a mess let some one know. And the place is very old and down stair is an over flow restroom u would be complaining if it was closed. Yes it has water in floor but also seen a boy and girl playing in sink and stall. Over 5 out of if I could give 6 stars I would.“
