“It really checks every box of a great spot (friendly service, cheap prices, enticing menu), just wasn’t wowed by the sandwich and greens I got. Sandwich was fine but felt a lot more like four great sounding things slapped together than some harmonious creation. Wouldn’t knock it as like a road trip grub stop? And the brisket itself was quite tender.“

“Visiting from out of town and was looking for someplace that served up some Burgoo. I first tried burgoo at Churchill Downs and really enjoyed the taste. I saw an article online listing Double H BBQ as one of the top burgoo locations in Lexington and decided to give it a try. Glad I did. Their burgoo was broth based and what I was looking for. Also tried the white chicken chili, green beans and a small brisket sandwich. Everything I tried was good and made my belly happy.“

“Was recently in a pinch needing to grab some dinner for the family and was tired of the usual spots. Dickeys was affordable, the food was great and the service was above and beyond. The staff, who I believe are also owners were so kind and thoughtful and even gave me a free fountain drink while I waited for my large order to be ready despite it only taking them a few minutes to get everything together.

I will absolutely be back and I'm so grateful to have them as an option in the neighborhood.“

“This spot is great for a casual bite to eat. They have very good food and I will definitely be back. I took away one star because of the appearance. In fact the first night when we pulled in we actually ended up leaving because it just looks so run down and there is a dilapidated hotel or something in the back. But after reading more reviews we decided to give it a try the next night and were sorry we didn't come in the night before. The food and service are excellent! Don't be scared off by the appearance.“

“Today my bestie and I tried Korean BBQ for the first time and it was AMAZING!!! First off the staff (I didn’t get the young ladies name) was BEYOND amazing she helped us choose our food and showed us all that we needed to do with cooking our own food. She was super sweet. The food was freaking amazing! We had the meat and seafood. Our first time trying squid and it was pretty good. We felt warm and welcomed here and it was truly an authentic experience. We definitely plan on returning to try more things.“

We got seated quickly, our server was amazing, our drinks and apps came out within a few minutes, my margarita was delicious and not skimping liquor, and our food was amazing!
