“The Gatton Student Center is a beautiful, spacious common area inside UK's Business School. The main seating and study area can be accessed by staircase or elevator. A sculpture is extended above the seating area that offers tables and oversized chairs. Lots of natural light comes through the glass ceiling. Also downstairs is a cafe for food and refreshments. It's great to have an option other than Starbucks and not be forced to walk across campus to access the main dining halls. Gatton also boasts over 40 study rooms that can be reserved in advance or in the moment. You can see upcoming booked times for the room so that you can plan ahead to be out prior. The rooms are great for 1-4 people and offer a big screen for projection. Another cool area in the Business School is the stock exchange room. Rates for company stocks float across the screen similar to Wall Street.“

“This is one (of two) cafeteria-style eating areas on UK's campus. For students it's part of their meal plan and for visitors it is $13/pp for an all-you-can-eat buffet.Stations included salad bar, tacos, chicken tenders and fries, curry, deli sandwiches, and desserts. Two of the stations addressed plant based needs and allergies. The drink station offered several sodas and coffee, and there's a small station for breakfast cereal, fresh fruit and milk. Because it's on campus there's an immense amount of seating available. The food stations were well staffed and kept clean. When finished, dishes can be carried to a moving conveyor.
