I had a 1/2 rack, coleslaw and fries. The ribs were done to perfection, meaty and fell of the bone. The coleslaw was excellent and full of flavor. The fries were thin, fresh cut with skins you could taste separately from the potato. Highly recommend Charlie G's and I'll be back.
This is the best bbq around. I had the pulled pork and it was delicious. The handcut fries are the best. The portion sizes are well worth the price. The staff are really nice.

Based on the reviews, Charlie G BBQ is the best BBQ around. The brisket, pulled pork, and ribs are cooked to perfection. The pulled pork and brisket are incredible, with meat that melts in the mouth. The handcut fries are the best. Other sides like the smoked mac and cheese, green beans, and baked beans are simply delicious. The sauces are also delicious. The portion sizes are large and well worth the price, often enough for another meal. The atmosphere is that of a small BBQ joint from the '60s, very clean and homey. The owners and staff are really nice and a delight, with the owner personally preparing the food. Charlie obviously cares about the flavors and special spices. The food is awesome, and people from the BBQ capitol of the world agree Charlie G’s rates on top. It is a must-try place.
