“I had a 1/2 rack, coleslaw and fries. The ribs were done to perfection, meaty and fell of the bone. The coleslaw was excellent and full of flavor. The fries were thin, fresh cut with skins you could taste separately from the potato. Highly recommend Charlie G's and I'll be back.“

“Visiting from out of town and was looking for someplace that served up some Burgoo. I first tried burgoo at Churchill Downs and really enjoyed the taste. I saw an article online listing Double H BBQ as one of the top burgoo locations in Lexington and decided to give it a try. Glad I did. Their burgoo was broth based and what I was looking for. Also tried the white chicken chili, green beans and a small brisket sandwich. Everything I tried was good and made my belly happy.“

“Excellent barbecue all kinds of sauces, discovered spicy vinegar is really delicious on pulled pork, macaroni and cheese was phenomenal like old school baked kind. Corn pudding excellent. The unique right stuff on the walls atmosphere is kind of fun. You can read them or you can add to them. Ain't every bite. It was all delicious.“

“This spot is great for a casual bite to eat. They have very good food and I will definitely be back. I took away one star because of the appearance. In fact the first night when we pulled in we actually ended up leaving because it just looks so run down and there is a dilapidated hotel or something in the back. But after reading more reviews we decided to give it a try the next night and were sorry we didn't come in the night before. The food and service are excellent! Don't be scared off by the appearance.“

“Was recently in a pinch needing to grab some dinner for the family and was tired of the usual spots. Dickeys was affordable, the food was great and the service was above and beyond. The staff, who I believe are also owners were so kind and thoughtful and even gave me a free fountain drink while I waited for my large order to be ready despite it only taking them a few minutes to get everything together.

I will absolutely be back and I'm so grateful to have them as an option in the neighborhood.“

“Today my bestie and I tried Korean BBQ for the first time and it was AMAZING!!! First off the staff (I didn’t get the young ladies name) was BEYOND amazing she helped us choose our food and showed us all that we needed to do with cooking our own food. She was super sweet. The food was freaking amazing! We had the meat and seafood. Our first time trying squid and it was pretty good. We felt warm and welcomed here and it was truly an authentic experience. We definitely plan on returning to try more things.“

“Great atmosphere, the staff is spot on. Mother fries are the bomb! Oysters and shrimp cocktail was very good! My wife and I both had the “ prime rib” recently. I’m not a butcher but what we had was not “prime rib”. It was I believe a $28 “chuck roast”.“

“My husband and I came in tonight for an early Mothers Day celebration. they were PACKED but still provide amazing service! We got seated quickly, our server was amazing, our drinks and apps came out within a few minutes, my margarita was delicious and not skimping liquor, and our food was amazing! “The food was absolutely amazing!!! Which actually made up a lot for the frigid dining room and neglectful waiter. My friend and I both ordered the 8 oz sirloin steak, with grilled shrimp, for $27ish. I had a loaded baked potato with a caesar salad side. She ordered a loaded baked potato and grilled corn on the cob for her sides. Our waiter was terrible, and distracted with his buddies in the other booth. We had the request our shrimp halfway through the meal, because it was forgotten. Everybody in the entire restaurant was wearing jackets, with their hoods on. Ironically other than the uncomfortable temperature and sub-par service,... The Steaks were cooked and seasoned perfectly! The shrimp, when we finally received it, was absolutely delicious! Loaded potatoes were great, and the corn is a absolute must try, surprisingly awesome! Food made the overall experience pretty wonderful, the cooks are impressive! Highly recommended,I hope you get a better waiter, and bring your jacket inside, if it's cold outside. For all my little complaints, I would definitely eat there again!“
