I just love this place. You can pay a lot more at wild eggs or first watch, and they have their place. But we played a game of checkers by the fire, we were waited on by the sweetest lady I've ever met, and those pancakes are divine. Spongy, crispy edges, not overly sweet. Was a little disappointed in that I ordered barrel bites because I had earned the pegs for them. But our waitress put them on our friend’s ticket snd he paid before he realized they were on there. We had discussed the appetizer in front of her because the wifi wasn’t connecting me.

Prior to Covid, I could walk into this establishment with confidence that I was going to receive good service and good food. Since the pandemic, these areas have been "hit or miss." Sometimes, the service is really good. Sometimes, it's lousy. Sometimes, the food is really good. At other times, it's unimpressive. Thankfully, our visit on 1-15-25 proved to be a good one.
